Moving Satellite Museum at Elementary School
Small museum and workshops are held in around 5 elementary schools in the city every year to promote children’s interest for the musical instruments and cultures of the world.
Training & Preservation
Training is provided curator certificates, university interns,advanced studies for teachers of schools in Shizuoka prefecture, job-experience study for middle school students, co-operative lessons with school teachers for middle school students.
The collection in this museum is a very valuable cultural property. For this we strive to preserve the collection in good condition without insect infestation, mold, cracks warp or other change. The collection is regularly monitored, repaired, cleaned and fumigated for that purpose.
